Hope you’re all enjoying the sunshine. We’ve played alot of great show’s recently and met some fantastic people….So thanks to all the promoters/friends/fans and bands we have worked with over the past few weeks, this summers shaping up to be the best yet.
We of course played the final date of the European Austin Lucas tour which was an amazing drunken event and I (Matt) also played a solo-show stateside with our friends The Token Gamblers @ The Copper Rocket Pub in Orlando, FL. Always a pleasure to share the stage with those gents and hope to do it again soon.
In more recent news we’ve had some copies of Broads, Beers & Banjos through, due for release on September 8th and we’re really happy with them…there’ll be a pre-order system going up soon hopefully, So keep an eye out for that!
Tomorrow (4th July) we are recording a Split E.P. with Jimmy Broomfield an awesome acoustic artist from Southampton. We’ll be getting together a limited pressing of 100 CD’s and then a limited pressing of 250 vinyls…that’s the plan at least! The split will probably make its way out sometime in August with any luck.

With June just around the corner we have some great summer shows lined up that will not dissapoint!
June 14th at The Prince Albert in Brighton we are playing with US Power-pop trio Lemuria who are returning to England for their 2nd UK tour. If you’ve never heard them before then you need to head over to their MySpace page and give them a listen, you owe it to yourself – Lemuria’s MySpace – If you live in the Brighton area then make sure you come down it’s going to be a great night. The show kicks off at 6pm and tickets are £5 and can be bought from Punker Bunker, 34 Sydney Street, North Laines. Do NOT miss out.
our 2nd unmissable show for June is at the Edge of The Wedge in Portsmouth on the 27th supporting Austin Lucas, Mike Hale and Josh Small on their UK tour. We cannot stress enough how amazing this show is going to be. Austin Lucas is one of our inspirations and Mike Hale along with Josh Small are incredible solo artists. This show is going to be of epic proportions. It kicks off at 4pm with James Black opening and then later in the evening country-punk from our friends Wooden Bullets and drunken sea shanties from the brilliant Livers & Lungs. Tickets are £4 advance/£5 on the door and will be available soon (check back for more details). This is going to be one whiskey fuelled evening….make sure you are there! Check out Austin Lucas Here
